This is my nineteenth summer in the NCADP and ATCP programs at Nipissing University. I thoroughly enjoy the two weeks
that I spend here each year. It is a nice change to work with adults in the field of education.
In my other life (the other 50 weeks of the year), I am a teacher in Wikwemikong, on Manitoulin Island. I've been teaching
for a total of 27 years. I've taught grades 4 to 12 during this time. I believe that education should be fun - if you
can't laugh with your students, then it really does feel like work!
I have a wonderful family consisting of my wife, Christianna, and my six (yes, 6) kids - Kenneth, Natalie, Tristan, Jesse,
Corey, and Rebecca. They range in age from 17 to 29. I love photography, gardening, the outdoors, singing and am very
involved in our local theatre group.
